Gecko Getaway is ideally situated for one to enjoy all that the bushveld has to offer.
It is only a 1½ hour drive from Pretoria and 15km from Bela-Bela (Warmbaths).
There is much to see and do in the area, but most important of all, it gives you time to enjoy the relaxation in the modern, fully equipped self catering luxury chalets on this farm in the bush.
Should you also want to enjoy the outdoors fully, we have within a short driving distance the following for you to experience:
Game Drives - At Mabalingwe, Mabula and Zebula.
Golf - At Elements and Zebula golf courses.
Spa - In Bela Bela and at Zebula.
A dam for fishing is nearly complete, or you can follow the walking trails through the bush and up the side of the mountain where a lookout point is situated. If an ardent birder you can spend your time enjoying the birds (about 280 species can be found in the area).
Mountain bike trails are also available (bring your own bikes). No quad bikes allowed.
In the evening you may see some of the small game and enjoy the quietness of the bushveld.
